Starbucks, Delta Air Lines link loyalty programs

Starbucks Corp. SBUX, +0.84% and Delta Air Lines Inc. DAL, +0.29% said that starting Wednesday, those who are enrolled in both the coffee seller’s and air carrier’s loyalty program can link their accounts. Starbucks’ stock rose 0.4% in premarket trading and Delta shares gained 0.2%. Once linked, U.S. customers will earn one mile with Delta SkyMiles for every $1 spent at Starbucks. On days customers have scheduled flights with Delta, they will earn two miles for every $1 spent at Starbucks. The two loyalty programs can be linked at starbucksdelta.com or deltastarbucks.com.
