UnitedHealth Group Inc.’s stock UNH, +1.79% ran up $15.31, or 3.0%, in morning trading and JPMorgan Chase & Co. shares JPM, +3.22% jumped $3.31, or 3.0%, after both companies beat profit and revenue expectations. The combined price gains added about 123 points to the Dow’s price, while the Dow was up 43 points, or 0.1%, while the S&P 500 SPX, -1.23% fell 0.5% and the Nasdaq Composite COMP, -1.62% shed 0.9%.
