Warning for investor protection regarding a so-called "City Group Italy Banking Group"
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission ("CySEC") would like to inform the general
public that it has come to its attention that a so-called "City Group Italy Banking Group", by
sending email messages, fraudulently using the logo and the name of CySEC, claims to have
been mandated by the Italian supervisory authority ('CONSOB') to apply the legislation of an
unspecified “Investor Compensation Fund” to recover investments lost through online
trading.
CySEC warns that the content of these messages is false and misleading.
