Arlo Technologies gets new CFO from IoT company CalAmp

Arlo Technologies Inc. ARLO, -3.56% said late Friday that Chief Financial Officer Gordon Mattingly will resign on Sept. 21, with Kurt Binder, currently the CFO of internet-of-things software company CalAmp Corp. CAMP, -1.44%, taking over the role after Mattingly’s departure. Before CalAmp, Binder held “significant” positions in finance and business management, the maker of smart home-security equipment said. That includes being the chief financial officer of electronics maker Vizio Holding Corp. VZIO, -5.03%. “I am excited to join the leadership team and leverage my (Internet of things) and (software as a service) background to accelerate the execution of Arlo’s long-range plan and maximize shareholder value creation,” Binder said. Arlo shares rose nearly 4% in the extended session Friday, after ending the regular trading day down 3.6%.
