Chipotle launches limited-time seasonal beverage

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. CMG, -1.23% announced the launch of Watermelon Limeade, its first seasonal beverage made in partnership with Tractor Beverage Co. The drink was tested in 2021 in Atlanta, Kansas City, and Orange County, Calif. before being added to menus. Chipotle added Tractor Beverage to the drinks platform in 2020, and analysts forecast a sales boost at the time. The drink will be available in the U.S. and Canada with 5% of profits going to charities supporting farmers. Chipotle stock has slumped 21.4% for the year to date.
