CSX increases dividend by 7%

CSX Corp. CSX, +1.79% said late Wednesday that its board has authorized a 7% increase in the railroad operator’s quarterly dividend to 10 cents a share. The dividend is payable on March 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Feb. 28, the company said. Shares of CSX rose 0.1% in the extended session after ending the regular trading day up 1.8%.
