Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. DKS, -0.26% announced Thursday a partnership Peloton Interactive Inc. PTON, -8.01%, in which the sporting goods retailer will roll out Peloton-branded fitness shops inside more than 100 of its U.S. stores. The rollout is scheduled to begin early in the holiday season. Peloton’s stock rose 0.7% in premarket trading while Dick’s stock fell 1.5%. The Peloton shops inside Dick’s Sporting Goods stores will sell Peloton hardware products, including Bike, Bike+, Tread and Guide, as well as certain accessories. “Outside of Peloton’s owned sales channels, Dick’s will be the only retailer to carry this selection of Peloton’s connected fitness equipment,” the companies said in a statement. Shares of Peloton have dropped 12.8% over the past three months and Dick’s soared 52.6%, while the S&P 500 SPX, -1.58% has slipped 2.6%.
