The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported on Thursday that domestic natural-gas supplies rose by 129 billion cubic feet for the week ended Sept. 30. That was higher than the average analyst forecast for an increase of 114 billion cubic feet, based on a survey conducted by S&P Global Commodity Insights.
