Gold futures climbed on Thursday, putting an end to a streak of declines that spanned seven sessions — the longest in more than three years. August gold rose $3.20, or 0.2%, to settle at $1,739.70 an ounce, a day after marking the lowest most-active contract settlement since late September 2021.
