IOSCO, the international organization of financial market supervisors, held a stakeholder meeting in Madrid on Friday 28 February.
Various regulatory issues relating to asset management and the challenges posed by technology were discussed. The meeting was also an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss IOSCO’s priorities for 2020.
The Chairman of the FSMA, Jean-Paul Servais, who is also Vice Chair of IOSCO, participated in one of the panels. Among other things, he raised the issue of the means and efforts dedicated to contributing to high-quality financial reporting.
