Kirkland’s CFO Nicole Strain to step down

Kirkland’s Inc. KIRK, +0.51% said late Monday Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Nicole Strain will be leaving the home furnishings company effective Aug. 31. The company said it sarted the search for a replacement and until it names a successor it will rely on a newly formed Office of the CFO, to be co-led by controller Anna Wilhoit and senior director Jessica Tatum. Kirkland’s said that if that transition plan in place it expects to report fiscal second-quarter results in late August. Shares of Kirkland’s were flat in the extended session after ending the regular trading day up 0.5%.
