KnowBe4 shares rally on WSJ report of take-private deal with Vista Equity

Shares of KnowBe4 Inc. KNBE, +12.76% jumped 11% in premarket trades Wednesday after The Wall Street Journal reported that Vista Equity Partners plans to take the cyber security company private for about $4.5 billion. The offer price is nearly $25 a share, a premium over the stock’s close of $21.59 on Tuesday. Citing people familiar with the deal, The WSJ said the deal is expected to be announced on Wednesday, if talks continue. KnowBe4 said in September it received a buyout offer from Vista for $24 a share in cash.
