AML – ANNUAL ACTIVITY REPORT
In its Communication FSMA_2020_12 (French – Dutch) of 6 October 2020, the FSMA provides AMLCOs of entities subject to the Law of 18 September 2017 (‘AML Law’) with a guide (French – Dutch) to help them prepare their annual activity report. The guide offers a clear and comprehensive structure to establish this report.
The report must contain a number of specific items of information about the actions taken by the obliged entity during the past year to combat money laundering and terrorist financing (ML/TF).
ANIMATED FILMS: VIDEOS TO PROMOTE BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF AML LEGISLATION
The AML legislation is not new, and yet it continues to elicit discussion in the press. It must be implemented correctly in order to ensure that the combat against money laundering and terrorist financing is effective.
To help insurance intermediaries who are subject to this legislation, that is, insurance intermediaries who offer life insurance contracts and are bound by any exclusive tie, to go through this process, the FSMA decided to produce a number of animated films.
