PayPal CFO Rainey is headed to Walmart in similar role

PayPal Holdings Inc. PYPL, -1.42% on Tuesday said its chief financial officer, John Rainey, is leaving after nearly seven years for the same role at Walmart Inc. WMT, -0.69%. Rainey will stay with PayPal until late May. PayPal’s board approved the appointment of Gabrielle Rabinovitch, senior vice president, corporate finance and investor relations, as interim CFO upon Rainey’s departure.
