The net neutrality debate is back on. Democratic Senate members Edward J. Markey, Mass., and Ron Wyden, Ore., on Thursday introduced the Neutrality and Broadband Justice Act in an attempt to reclassify broadband as a telecommunications service and restore oversight of internet service providers to the Federal Communications Commission. The bill would authorize the FCC to enforce rules banning discriminatory practices like blocking and throttling certain lanes of internet traffic.
