Stocks nudged higher in early trade Friday as investors weighed how aggressive the Federal Reserve will be in tightening policy a day after another hotter-than-expected inflation reading. The Dow Jones Industiral Average DJIA, +0.47% was up 50 points, or 0.1% at 35,292,while the S&P 500 SPX, +0.18% rose 0.1% to 4,506.63 and the Nasdaq Composite COMP, -0.02% shed 0.1% to 14,166.
