Supreme Court agrees to hear case on tech companies’ legal immunity

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a case in which the family of a U.S. citizen who was killed in an ISIS attack in Paris in 2015 is suing Alphabet’s GOOG, +3.28% GOOGL, +3.13% Google business, according to multiple published reports. The case, Gonzalez v. Google, involves the scope of tech companies’ immunity under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, SCOTUSblog reported.
