Since 1 January 2022, you can carry out (re)insurance intermediation as a ‘subagent in training’. This new status offers the solution for starting up the activity of (re)insurance distribution under the legal status of a self-employed person.
A ‘subagent in training’ is a (re)insurance subagent who meets all the conditions for registration, including as regards the required theoretical knowledge, but who does not have 6 six months of practical experience. He or she can obtain the requisite practical experience under the heightened supervision of a (re)insurance broker or agent.
